The Veteran Service Officer of Eaton County advocates for the veterans and their dependents who reside in the county. They can provide assistance to veterans and their dependents regarding compensation, pension, medical, educational, insurance and death benefits. We also assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining important documentation needed to apply for benefits. There is a federal program through the VA that currently spends funds in Assisted Living. The program is known as Aid and Attendance. The website linked will detail qualifications for the benefit. If you or a loved one fits the qualifications, get in touch with the Veteran Service Officer and they will help you apply for your benefits.
